As Principal of Roselle Park High School, I would like to welcome you to the Roselle Park High School website. This website has been prepared in the hope that it will become a valuable resource for you and provide you with school news and information.
Here at Roselle Park High School, our staff set high academic standards for our students. We offer a rigorous academic program. We work diligently to meet the needs of each of our students in a student-centered way, remembering that each student learns differently. We have a small student to staff ratio and we offer a large range of elective classes, from Weight Training in our new weight room, to Architecture and Engineering in our new STEAM wing, to Photography, to Public Speaking to a large selection of AP classes. Our staff works diligently to ensure that each child is working to his or her maximum ability and to give students many opportunities to pursue their interests.
We are a special high school in that we are relatively small. This offers students the unique opportunity to be able to be involved in many many areas of school life, from the ability to participate in multiple athletic teams, to many clubs, the school musical, to Student Council, the arts and a wide array of academic programs. Being small, means students have many opportunity to be active in their high school in a wide array of areas of personal interest. The high school years provide students with the wonderful opportunity to discover personal talents and gifts. One way to learn is through trying new things and taking advantage of every opportunity afforded, to help students learn more about themselves and to develop friendships that may last a lifetime.
The adults who work here will offer you help along the way. Please ask for our assistance. We want to be a part of your success. We have a dedicated group of counselors that work closely with each student and family throughout all four years, dedicated teachers and staff, and a highly accessible administrative team.
Thank you for reading my page. I encourage you to get to know our high school, staff and students. We are a special place!
