Registration for Fall Sports IS NOW OPEN!

Please review the information below regarding the athletic registration process. To ensure your student-athlete is eligible for participation on the first day of practice, all required forms and documentation must be submitted by the registration deadline. Roselle Park High School uses Genesis Parent Portal for all athletic registrations.

Registration Opens: June 8, 2026
Registration Closes: August 1, 2026

• Football- August 10, 2026

• Cheerleading- August 10, 2026

• Girls Tennis- August 10, 2026

Genesis Registration Steps

Step 1

Log into your Genesis Parent Portal account.   Roselle Park Parent Genesis Portal

Step 2

Select the Forms tab and open the Fall Sports Registration Form.

Step 3

Select the school your student-athlete will attend in the upcoming season.

Step 4

Select the sport your student-athlete will be participating in and complete all required fields.

Step 5

Review all information and click Submit or Update to finalize the registration.

Step 6

Complete and upload all required medical forms, including:

• Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Form (if required)

• Health History Update Questionnaire

Step 7

All student-athletes must have a current ImPACT Test on file prior to participation. Baseline ImPACT testing is valid for two (2) years. Information will be sent via Parent Square for ImPACT Testing. Reach out to krodriguez@rpsd.org for more information.

Step 8

Once all forms have been submitted, the student's medical paperwork will be reviewed and sent to the school physician for clearance. Please allow up to two weeks for the clearance process.

Important Medical Information

Physical Examination Requirements

A sports physical is valid for 365 days from the date of the examination. If a physical is valid on the first day of the season, it remains valid for the duration of that sports season in accordance with NJSIAA and New Jersey Department of Education regulations.

Please note that only the current New Jersey Department of Education athletic physical forms will be accepted.

Required Forms

Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Form

• Must be completed if the student-athlete does not have a current physical on file.

Health History Update Questionnaire

• Required for all student-athletes.

ImPACT Baseline Testing

• Required prior to participation.

• Valid for two years.

• All incoming freshmen participating in athletics must complete an ImPACT test before participation. Reach out to krodriguez@rpsd.org for more information.

Checking Registration Status

Families who wish to verify the status of their student's athletic clearance should contact the Athletic Office, Nurse or the Head coach of their respective sport.

Please submit all paperwork as early as possible to avoid delays in athletic clearance.

If you participated in a Fall or Winter Sport, check Genesis under the Athletics section or with your school nurse to confirm you have a valid physical on file.
